What is the advantage of being logged in on HT Pedigree?

If you register for a free account you will gain access to possibilities which will let you get the most out of HT. First off, you will get the option to add horses to the database. You can also request a change to a horses' information (e.g. a change in the sports level of a horse). Furthermore, you will have the ability to setup a 'my horses' list. Here, you can add comments and/or notes which are only accessible for you. Finally, you can save the combinations you filled out with 'virtual mating', including any notes you filled out. HT-members with a paid subscription will gain even more advantages to fully make use of the HT-platform. There is an option to choose for a PLUS or TOP subscription. How do I create a free account on HT?

Click on the top of the page on 'Register'. Here you can enter your personal information. Your username will be your email. Your password will be sent by email after you have registered.

I have created an account. Why did I not receive my password?

Automated emails can end up in your 'spam' or 'unwanted emails' bin. Check these to see if you can find your password there. If you can't, contact us at info@horsetelex.com and we will send you the password a second time.

Why should I get a paid subscriptions at HT?

A paid subscription opens up a world of possibilities with various features you can use to your benefit. You can choose the subscription plans 'PLUS' or 'TOP'. For a comparison between these packages click here

Where can I change my password?

Log in to HT first, then navigate to 'My HT'. Here you can change your password. Please note that changing your password applies to all websites (pedigree/results/sales). You will always login with the same passwords regardless of the site.

How do I become a HT paid member to gain access to all possibilities HT has to offer?

HorseTelex has two paid subscriptions plans: PLUS and TOP. You can find an overview of the possibilities associated with the plans by clicking the yellow button 'Become HT-Member'. After reviewing the plans you can choose one and register by filling out the needed information. After sending the information we will prepare your access to the possibilities associated with the chosen subscription. An invoice is subsequently sent to your email.

How do I create a ‘my horses’ list?

Log in. Go to ‘My HT’ and choose ‘My horses’. Choose ‘Add a horse to my horses list’. The horse will be automatically added to your list. Remember to fill out the ‘Edit horse’ (on the right) information. This way your contact information will be shown on the pedigree of the horse.

How do I add a photo to a horse?

Click, in your ‘My horses’ list, on the camera icon ‘photo/video gallery’. You can add one picture with the PLUS membership account, and you can add an unlimited number of pictures with the TOP membership plan.

How do I add a video to a horse?

Click, in your ‘My horses’ list, on the camera icon ‘photo/video gallery’. You can add one video with the PLUS membership account, and you can add up to five videos with the TOP membership plan.

Why are my contact and address information not visible in the pedigree of my horse?

Having added a horse to the 'my horses' list does not automatically mean that your information is visible with your horse. To make the information visible navigate to 'edit horse' in the list of your horses and fill out the fields 'category' and 'my relationship with this horse'. Only then will your information appear on the pedigree of the horse.

Once logged in you can manage your stable through ‘MY HT’. This is where you will find all the features which you have at your disposal.

How do I search for a horse?

You can search for a horse by filling out the field 'search for a horse' on the TOP of the HorseTelex page. You can also search by filling out the name of the father and/or mother.

How do I find the right horse when multiple horses exists with the same name?

Some names a very common. To find the right horse you can make use of the 'advanced search' option. Here you can fill out additional information such as birth year, FEI no., Studbook, or UELN nr.

How do I add a horse?

To add a horse to the HorseTelex database navigate to 'more' on the second menu. Here you will find 'add a horse'.

How do I add an embryo?

To add a embryo to the HorseTelex database navigate to 'more' on the second menu. Here you will find 'add a embryo'.

What information do I need to succesfully add a horse to the HorseTelex database?

Ideally you will fill out all of the information fields. These fields however are mandatory to fill out the succesfully add a horse: name, sex, pedigree and reproduction. If you want to add a foal which doesn’t have a name (yet), then use the first letter of the father (without using periods or commas, and do not use UNKNOWN) as the name of the foal.

How do I change the information of a horse?

Did you found an error in the information of a horse? Or do you just want to add an alias to a particular horse? You can unfortunately not do this yourself. You have to send a request to HT to make this change. You can do so by going to the pedigree of the horse and by clicking on 'edit' which is found under the pedigree. A change request form will open. Here you can fill out the adjustments you want to make and HorseTelex will process the application as soon as possible, provided the information is correct.

How can I request a change in the sports performance of a horse?

You can add a sport performance level to a horse (jumping, dressage, eventing) by clicking on 'edit' under the pedigree of a horse. Here you can choose between different sports performances. Please note that we will need proof of performance if the change you are requesting is 1.30m and higher (jumping), Prix St. Georges and higher (dressage), or CCI2 or higher (eventing). We check on websites such as the FN (Germany), BLUP.se (Sweden), FFECompet (France), KWPN / KNHS (Netherlands), SJI.ie (Ireland), etc. If possible include a link of the performance for us to review the request.

How do I find the sports results of a horse?

Find the pedigree of the horse. If sports results are available it will be presented here. To see an overview of all the international results click on 'Results'.

Where can I buy semen from a stallion?

If semen is available from a stallion, and if this information is available to HT, it will be displayed above the pedigree of the horse.

How do I know if a horse is for sale?

If a horse is for sale, you will find a blue button ‘FOR SALE’ on the pedigree of the horse.

How and where can I see who the breeder, owner, and ex-owner is of a horse?

All of the HT-members with a paid subscription (PLUS or TOP) can associate their contact and address information with their horse. You will find this information above the pedigree of a horse.

Where can I find the collection of an auction?

On the second menu you will find the item 'auctions'. Here you will see a list of all available auctions on HoreTelex. The auctions can be filtered by foal auctions or sporthorses auctions, as well as German, Dutch, Belgium, or French auctions.

Where can I find the collection of a stallion show?

On the second menu you will find the item 'stallion show'. Here you will see a list of all available shows on HorseTelex. These are presented in a year by year overview.
